VIEWS INSIDE VERSION 2.1

A note on the displays shown: The images shown below were created on a Macintosh computer, and so will display about like this on any Macintosh. However, they probably will not display as well on a Windows computer, which is not as standardized in its font control. In the Windows version some minor changes were made to minimize text field conflicts and overruns.

1. Queries can be entered on either a basic query screen, or an advanced query screen if you want to use a more complex query method. Most users only need the basic screen, however.

2. Queries (either basic or advanced) can alternatively be entered through meditation mode. (Only the "basic input" variant is shown here.) In this mode, instead of having a busy screen full of text instructions staring at you, you have a calming, meditative image displayed from the image library. This library holds up to 64 images in a wide range of formats. The program comes with only 5 images loaded into the library; you add others that you like. If you like variety, you can select a randomized display from the library, else you select an image to be displayed all the time.

 3. After the Oracle returns its answer, it is shown on an answer screen. You can save queries (with your comments), which thereafter are displayed on a saved query screen. You cannot change your query text, but you can always change your comments.

 4. You store your queries in folders, and you can see a list of queries inside a folder to select those you wish to redisplay. Other important features within folders include sorting the list in different ways, searching for queries by keyword, printing the list, and the administrative tasks of deleting or moving queries to another folder.

 5. All queries are password protected so that privacy is assured, and users cannot move their queries into other users' folders. However, a user can export copies of their folders to a text file, or import previously exported folders back into the system.
